It is US and europe who has pushed overnight prow test ant chaarches across India that have been involved in all forms of shady dealings through these chaarches. They distribute money to political activists of all hues - including saffron ones - to further their own political ambitions.
Technically Indu groups should have nothing to do with LGBT rights (for or against) as this phenomena is not spoken about in a negative light in their religious texts (except in the case of some freenge organizations such as ISKCON). So it is surprising to see that extremist Indu organizations are protesting for an essentially xian cause. Most likely, one of these churches must have bribed a few of these hundreds of so-called Indu organizations to stage protests. Mushrooming of these churches are the main cause of problems in India - whether it is nuclear energy, or FDI against retail, or even abrogation of article 377.
If west stops meddling in India's affairs through shadowy chaarches, half of our problems will be solved instantly.

You are a cut let from neighboring country trying to put blame on chaarches so that you guys can sneak under indu noses with your demographic change of india. The only religion which is morbidly anti LGBT is your religion by the way, see what the do the LGBT community in saudi arabia.
Being an educated man, you are talking like a stoopeed. Why? Dont you know that courts cannot go beyond the spirit and the letter of constitution? If constitution criminalizes g, l, b and t sacks, how can SC give a verdict against the constitution? Why dont you push our secular govt (that you so much support) to abrogate article 377? When it is done, SC will give verdicts in favor of LGBT sacks. Till then, a half-baked law in the form of a series of court verdicts can be more dangerous to the society. It is a prerogative of the parliament to make laws. You cannot expect court to do it. This govt wants to run with the hares and hunt with the hounds and those who claim to be secular and support this govt, this should be a red-herring for them. They want to be seen as secular, but have no qualms pandering to minority extremists, who have the biggest objection to this abrogation.

Till then ... this regressive judgement will deal a body blow to the very idea of individual freedom and choice ... and the LGBT people will have to go back in to the closet for fear of the maximum jail sentence of life.
Meanwhile the constabulary will run amock again to hound, harass and extort or jail law-abiding LGBT people whose only 'crime' is that they do not conform to your traditional view of sexuality.
