Vijay Anand doesn’t have the screen presence of his superstar brother, Dev, ..... but .... but Goldie is a much much better actor than Dev, see Tere Mere Sapne , and about direction Vijay was miles ahead.

Oh and you would know what underplaying is probably because unlike Jaya you wouldnt know take the time to find the floor and the ceiling of a character and how far you could go and how much you had to pull back. She was a gold medalist at the FTII, and you are...?

Hamming is the easiest way of emoting. Like you said "finding the floor and ceiling" of the character takes time which enables you to give the right amount of expressions.

If you see the late Smita Patil, you will know what underplaying is. And both belonged to the same era.

Jaya debuted in late 60's and Smita in late 70's . Jaya took semi retirement after 1981 while Smita was peaking. Same era !

Bainganda !Whatever I or you (We I said, right) have above our waist can be checked at your convenience but you topmost part(round shaped probably) is only for growing hair -sure. Kamasutra is not a periodical to have issues Bainganda !!But for the likes of you I will have to write "Dimaag Sutra" ! to help in your search for IT!
