Game of thrones is a tv show and is limited and its aired in few countries because of its adult content. HBO spend money on building sets and CGI but less on actors payment. if it was shown in theatres then definitely it would have broken all records in earnings and the actors would have gone in forbes list. but u cant makes dozen of movies of this epic saga. movies earn more than tv show. the reason why movie actors are on top.
