I am surprised to see the performance of Amitabh Bachchan @71 marvelous. Rating given as * is foolish . Prasanna Zore should have applied his mind well before giving such poor rating to this fantastic hard work by everyone except Kareena. It appears rating is biased one. Superb Movie, great acting done by everyone. Ajay is the star performer. This movie can simply not be compared with any other movie. It's paisa wasool and hope that people realize the message!!
Now a days in India movie like "Ye Jawani hai Deewani", "Chennai Exress" earn more than 200cr but movie like "Satayagrah" , "Madras CAfe" fail to earn... What happen to our critic reviewer....
If you say the movie is bad that means you are a typical Indian cinema lover who only believes that every problem in life has a beautiful solution and everything @ the end is sweet enough to carry home. It is a realistic story which actual plots and situations of our country. Recently I was reading an article in TOI which said that in India economy is getting poorer because papers doesn't move without being bribed and so investors are moving towards western countries. This system is gradually harboring the entire country. This is what the movie actually shows and the plots are next to real. This has actually happened in recent pasts in our country but since people in India are very good at forgetting and forgiving so probably the audience failed to connect. Still the movie is superb and so is the presentation. There was no overflow of emotions or dialogues, the stars suited their characters. Above all a nice movie which is giving some reasons to think and act.
The way he started the review it seemed that he has been paid to write bad. I mean the whole intention was to show the movie in the bad light. And this is not a neutral review. Not something which is expected from REDIFF. The Film is a good film but for sure not an extra ordinary one. The class was for sure not upto the earlier standards set in GANGAJAL, RAJNEETI. An extremely difficult subject for film making. An burning issue has been highlighted and surely something needs to be done to improve that. The solution provided though seemed to be very Impractical or to a certain extent even childish. OVERALL AN HONEST FILM WITH SOME MIND BLOWING PERFORMANCES FROM AMITABH JI AND MANOJ BAJPAI. Hats off to Prakash Jha !!!!
