Chennai express can be compared with RGV ki aag, Houseful 2 and Himmatwala (2013). Only thing is It was released during long weekend that too with 3800 prints and higher no. of shows with raised ticket rates.
As many have tried to watch movie and find what exactly was great about it ? '3 Idiots' stands far superior piece of work as compared to CE. But, at the end of the day its all about monitory gain and public perception.

Chennai Experss was made for dumb and idi0t people. And after watching this many have seen taking pain killers and Anti-depression drugs. It can only be compared with Himmatwala and Houseful 2

3idots has made 202 crores after ruuning 55days and widout facing any competition.. if chennai xpress would have made 202crore at 55th day and widout any competition den u can argue all these things bro.. but u knw chennai xpress took nly 15days to break all these records.. nly 15days... in which hiked tkt n all wont work my bro.. only the love of public towards the movie will do everythng.. hope u can understand it now very clearly..
