Again an unqualified blunder by the whimsical Raja Sen. Ray's two outstanding works, 'Pather Panchali' and 'Apur Sansar' find no place in this list which is truly baffling. Films like 'Hirak Rajar Deshe' can in no way be counted as among Ray's best.
Charulata and Mahanagar has been digitally restored and released in DVD.and Blu Ray by Criterion collection this month in USA. Also no Apu Trilogy in this list baffles me. That's top of my list as a must have Criterion title!
