As per BBC Tamil today any one can read this. There is case pending in the Vavuniya high court in northern Sri Lanka that a naval ship flying the Indian flag was gunning and strafing Tamil civilians along the shore in May 2009. The case will be heard in September this year.

Except that some of the names displayed were wrong. The following are the actuals, 1. Story, Screenplay and Dialogue - Subramaniam Swamy. 2. Direction - M.K. Narayanan. 3. Art Director and Program Co-Ordinator - Shiv Shankar Menon.
While technically this is the best directed and shot movie on International intelligence made in India but it distorts facts. Prabhakaran was our own creation also Rajeev did not resign voluntarily he lost elections. It was never admitted by us officially that we went wrong in Lanka.

The LTTe did make some mistakes but the main reason that peace or any other agreement never came is because of the attitude of the Sinhalese. They have from the time of independence wanted the land to only a Sinhalese Buddhist land and set about doing this from the day the British left the island in 1948 and gave the entire island to them on a platter. The British had no right to have done this. The island had always been divided into its Sinhalese and Tamil speaking parts from ancient times onwards and ruled by their own monarchs and chieftains. It was the British who united the Sinhalese and Tamil parts of the island in 1833 and created a new colony called Ceylon. When they left they should have either divided the island as they found or created a federal setup with the rights of the Tamils speaking minority enshrined They did neither but only gave the island to the Sinhalese majority on a platter without the consent of the hapless Tamil population in 1948 and left and created all this mess. The LTTE is a child of Sinhalese racism and brutality and Indian opportunism. It only came after 30 years of non violent protest against state sponsored Sinhalese brutality and racism against the Tamil population in the island. India used the Eelam Tamils and the LTTE when it suited them and then when Rajiv made a pace with the Sinhalese and the Eelam Tamils were not needed started to demonize them and the LTTE and sent the IPKF to do the dirty work of the Sinhalese.

Proves that they had no intention for peace or to grant just Tamil rights or a federal solution of any sort. They just hoodwinked the world to support them to defeat the LTTE under the guise of fighting terrorism when it was then and not the LTTE that were the cause of everything and are now feeling victorious and now want to destroy the Tamil language culture and any trace of the ancient Tamil civilisation in the island. This is the reason they are using the army to terrorise the Tamil population in the north and east of the island and illegally acquiring thousands of acres of Tamil lands homes and farms and settling thousands of Sinhalese from the south in these lands to deliberately change the demography and to make the Tamils an insignificant voiceless minority in their own lands.

LTTE refused to be part of the peace process and elections. it was LTTE's choice to fight with IPKF.
LTTE's war crimes cannot be hidden in your heap of propaganda. they can be credited with the following innovations

This same sort of tactic was carried out by the Jewish controlled Hollywood in the 1970s and 1980s. Creating fast moving thrilling spy fiction moveis like Black September etc to demonize the Palestinians and portray them as terrorists ETC. The people loved these movies but because of this movies a very bad impression about the Palestinian Arab was created in the average western mind. Most people do not know history or are not sophisticated enough to discern truth from fiction and gradually and subconsciously believe what is portrayed. This is what the Bollywood industry is now doing to the Eelam Tamils

How graceful will you be in accepting that story.
Fiction needs to be 100% fiction and when real life incidents are used, they should be done with utmost sincerity (without any biased view) and only those parts of facts that are agreed by all parties should be taken. Else, be prepared for rejection. Hurting someone's sentiments for political/commercial reasons is completely unacceptable.

Madras Cafe is awesome espionage films with efficient mix of facts & fiction. Technicalities are superb & raises bar for this genre in hindi cinema ..John & Sircar producer-director combo gave us two great films back to back..looking fwd to some more from them :)

I do not understand why you keep on saying your country, your government, etc. Decide whether you are part of India or not.
If yes, then accept the country, as yours and work for its betterment, and not sit and cry foul.
If you think the freedom figheters are not yours, and if you think you do not belong to the country, make a collective force and get a free country.
Countries have broken int he past, we can live without a part.
However, I would rather have the whole country and resolve problems being one, rather than crying foul at others actions.
