It is not screened in TN, theater owners are afraid of their property getting damaged by screening this movie...
is really good, fast and nearly flawless. only time will whether it will be a hit or flop..the film got release this week n it is too early for any prediction..any way, best of luck JOHN & Nargis ...
While movies like Dabang 2, Race 2, Chennai Express, etc. can cross Rs.100 Crores and if “Madras Cafe” does not, then it is very clear that the mindset of the second largest populated country in the world is addicted to glamor and senseless entertainment that takes you away from reality.
After all the mindless craps this month, which tortured the genuine movie lovers, here comes a bold movie that every genuine movie fan quests for. Hats off to john and soojit for taking such a bold step and bringing us a treat and showing some of the directors and producers that bollywood has the potential to think beyond 100 crores and to impress movie lovers. if u are a fan of movies then dont miss this chance of being proud of Hindi cinemas.
Your film is good. Reviews are also good. But you are not Khan to run picture. Because Hakla Shahrukh's picture is liked by we Indians. We like khans only. We will see their picture only however it would be.

khans did swadesh who say it?lets just say these movies are done with the rite budget and for select audiences and hence successful in their own rite .when ur done with fast food u return back to ur meal.
