Some simple facts and chronology which movie is not telling - 1. Tamils are living even before singlahalese. Yet in srilanka as Tamils in Lanka were treated as second class citizens. 2. They did peaceful protests for years then turned towards LTTE. 3. Indira Gandhi helped them to keep control over Lanka. 4. Rajiv Gandhi was the greatest, he sent Indian Army to kill Tamils. 5. Indian Army couldn't finish the mission. But in that process Rajiv Gandhi lost his life. 6. Now Indian govt helped Lanka to wipe out LTTE and in that process thousands of innocents lost their lives.
India could have stopped Lanka in last 40 years at any point of time. India is too big for Lanka. But India watched shamelessly when Tamils were wiped out, rather India helped Lanka.
Now these shameless breed of movie makers, showing that Lanka is right and Tamils were menace in Lanka. India used Srilankan Tamils as toys and never intend to really help them or let them live in a peaceful dignity life.

When people are allowed to watch the movie only then they'll come to know that situations portrayed are correct or false. Let them see the movie and then we all will have discussions. Also, I would like to say that no one can become a self appointed judge to give judgement on freedom of speech.
The writer has got it wrong . Mallya in this movie is not Karuna but Mahattya who was later executed by LTTE .Mahattya was very much in the lead during the anti IPKF Operations .

u son of a gun its a good movie u even dont know how we tamilians were forced to bleed by prabhakaran he always wanted a separate country to rule and do drug and weapon traffic what do you know about tamilians in lanka and i am now in madurai teaching for living

You a Tamil? A Tamil will never call himself Tamilian. You are a Sinhalese pretending to be Tamil. Sinhalese are very good at pretending. Oh yes go to the North and East of the island and see the plight of the Tamil population there. The only people living in joy with all the aid money to rehabilitate the displaces Tamils are the Sinhalese Sri Lankan armed forces and the thousands of Sinhalese settlers who have been brought in from the south to colonise on illegally acquired Tamil lands homes and farms. We also know about the people smuggling and drug trafficking racket done by the Sri Lankan armed forces

I am not a spokes person of Tamilians but a tamilian who lost home and family in lanka force to work for living .If you were actually felt ply of tamilian in lanka you would not have respeonded.IT was LLTE cadre who raped Tamilians even Sinhalese also did just make it worse its the liberation army people did it.If you dont know the actualy story just F off u monster boy

like this Sindian there are thousands and thousands of Tamil brothers who fled from Jaffna to other countries as refugees just because of the evil attitude of the single person and single outfit. Other tamil outfits like EPRLF, TELO and its leaders like Padmanaba, Amirthalingam etc., all are destroyed and killed. Nobody is talking about this. Because they have been funded by people who funded LTTE earlier.

The same movie reviewed by another rediff movie critic states its definetly a watch, however Nadar feels its only good for the good location and John. How about this conspiracy theory that what if RAW was responsible for Karuna break up , that would have been amazing, it would have meant keep the pressure then on and finally it would lead to going up in smoke as it happened in reality, if that is true then I would be proud of our secret service. This would convey a message no hiding place for any antinational activity.

Useless .. distorted movie.. Distorting history and struggles of lots of people.. There are two sides of any coin.. the suffering of large mass of people will not go wasted..
