All of them are bad. Indian crime fans are seriously under-served. Would love to have series like the British, they really know how to make crime shows and make it interesting, with many of the shows running for over a decade easily, because the stories are so well thought out.
Indian TV started out well with Karamchand, Vyomkesh Bakshi in the 80s and then it just went downhill with Ekta Kapoor's serials, reality TV and song/dance shows.
It's time for a full revamp of crime series on television. The Indian viewer deserves good investigation series, many of them, not just one or two.

you need to watch CRIME Petrol & CID to change your views..nothing wrong with it. even ARJUN is not bad..comparing them with foreign serials is not done.

CID?? I have been watching it since it started. There has been no character development at all. Daya is still breaking doors and slapping criminals. Salunkhe can do a DNA analysis that would normally take months within a few hours, and has the answer even before the CID people move in. The entire case closes within one or two days. It is a technical impossibility.
CID has done more damage to the real heroes in the actual CID than any other serial or scam.
And I did not compare them just with foreign serials. They are even worse than Vyomkesh Bakshi or Karamchand. TV serial quality has been going backwards, not forward.

Crime petrol so far is the best TV shows I have ever seen. The attraction is the presentation by Anoop soni, direction, screenplay and all the above controlled acting of all the artists. The program gives lot of messages and awareness to the society.
