As Indian I was proud to be born in India.... It was 350 years the Mugals and English ruined our country, yet we follow both Mugals and English. still love Briyani and still feel good in writing english. Englishmen clearly ruined our education system in 2 centuries. We got Freedom but we gone and mortgaged the same freedom to politicians. No one has to be blamed. It is you and me.... The English and Mugals came with the intent to ruin our Coutry. But you and me grown the Politician.
Need of the hour... Not freedom to speach or expression. Need is a law wherein anyone speaks disgraceful about India to be punished. The LTTE betrayed us... by killing IPKLF and also propoganda about falses of IPKLF..It was Rajiv Gandhi's mistake to leave Prabhakaran from Delhi (Rajiv Was good in intention atleast this time). Prabhakaran should have killed that time and by now SL would be happy.
We fight with all the neighbours including Maldivies. Because of thes silly politicians. Where we could have taken all the county in board and grown big.
We are Indians and may be speaking various languages, practice various religion, have different taste / culture. But only one keep us connected is INDIA...
Come let us thing other way around.by not ignoring but by punishing the separatist.

From what I can understand from your post, you say that when we get rid of freedom of expression, we could have taken over all the neighbours ( assuming that's what you mean by "we could have taken all the county in board and grown big." )
Seems to me that you think that we should tear out parts of the civics book to get a larger geography book..
Not going to work in the schoolbag, not going to happen in real life.

Malayalees support the cause of Sri Lankan tamils in Lanka and wants them rehabilitated with good security ,subjected to proper human rights and given every right to prosperity and growth.
Film does not reflect typical malayalee views which are in favour of Sri lankan tamils.
However we abhor the use of violence and ask them to focus on diplomacy ,tact and negotiation for handling the issue.
The great tamil sage Tiruvalluvar, in his classic book Thirukkural, have also advocated non-violence and diplomacy for resolution of conflicts and issues.
In the Name of Tolerant Society we Indian are always subjected to injustice and shame. Indian Should be aggressive and try for world dominance like other nation and religion rather than timid and inactive.
When a movie has been cleared by the censor board then who are these 'wings' right or left or whatever. No one should even dare to stall any release. We are not Pak or China...we're India. Be proud of the fact. Also, a society should be tolerant enough else it will perish on its own.

Ankush, next film in this series is " Mallu café " This movie is about IPKF atrocities. Be proud of the fact. No one should even dare to stall release. We are not in Pak or china.

Raj, It was a British Filmaker who made Gandhi, The person who played Gandhi was also British. Censor Board is a regulatory body and even Tamil movies come under the same regulation and every filmaker abides by it, u calling the censor body fale just shows how ignorant your as a person and it is gullible people like you that regional politicians use for there own political gains..

That means you know everything under the sun in black and white and that the rest of the world should abide by that. Get a life! By that logic, a Mogambo or Dr. Dang should also not have been created by Indian Movie makers as they portray British people in bad light!

RAj. Just give respect. No one knows your face. But the Censor board is consist of well known people. Just dont take one point of view. Create the Indianness inner yourself. LTTE attacked India. LTTE attacked IPKLF. Whatever IPKLF did was not wrong as they were our solders...BUt LTTE is no business in coming to India. Dont go by these politicians you dont know the Fast story of MK who fasted between B/F and Lunch. THeir family accumalted tons of amount.

Actully, IPKLF should not have poked their nose in Srilankan internal issues. Second, if you go by history, it was India who trained the first batch of 40 LTTE cadres in an army base. I am no way supporting LTTE here, but we shd accept our fault as well. If Karuna is a politician, then Rajiv Gandhi too is a politician who unfortunately got killed in the mess. Note: China couldnt set their foot on SriLanka bcoz of LTTE presence and whose cadres had blood connection with Indains (People from TN and Kerala who had settled during Chola kings rule and later settled for generations there for work/business). Today, China is actively involved in Srilanka in all kind of projects. IPKLF actually ventured into their land. What about the Naxals who killed scores of policemen for venturing into their land, why cant the Govt send IPKLF and kill them as well?.
Conclusion: I have no issues with Madras Cafe and dont care abt the subject of the movie as well. Just want to give the realistic picture from my point of view.

we know Karuna is a traitor. what is the relation of Karuna and this topic ? .Leave him now . please frankly tell me why Rajiv sent indian army to Srilanka ? what rights he brought to tamils by sending the IPKF ?. Who need to take responsibility for killing 15,000 innocent lives killed by IPKF ?
