review indian movies in india

Aseem chabra , claims that the critic , should watch the movie with the general audience , yet , although he does it , he does it at NYC . Most expats would swallow anything bollywood has to throw at them , despite its inane story, ott action sequences and stereotypical acting . Surely , if he'd reviewed the movie in am chi Mumbai , or any movie hall in India , his review would have been more realistic, ( at least for the archetypical movie goer )secondly, the reviewer should look at the movie at face value , not what it could and should or would be able to deliver !!! Yes everybody is a critic , but at the end of three hours if one feels they wasted their money , then the reviews should reflect the same . Probably , if someone closer home would have reviewed the movie , it would have been more relatable .

Horrible Review

a Tamil-speaking sardar turns out to be a lone north Indian in a village in Tamil Nadu and also the local police chief (or was he just a constable?);

ARE YOU SAYING THAT THERE ARE NO TAMIL-SPEAKING PUNJABIS IN TAMILNADU? AND LONE?YOU WANT THE DIRECTOR TO SHOW COP'S STORY OR RAHUL'S STORY?

Khan and Padukone, on the run from the henchmen of her father, keep getting support from other villagers – clothes, a fabulous house to stay in

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A VILLAGE AND ASKED FOR HELP?

and jeeps to escape; the jeeps start on their own – no keys required;

WATCH THE MOVIEW CAREFULLY, BEFORE TRAPPING THE TUNGABALLI, ONE OF THE VILLAGER THROWS THE KEYS TO SRK

and during one of his escapes, Khan lands in a boat run by oil smugglers operating between India and Sri Lanka.

WHAT IS SO UNREALISTIC AND MINDLESS ABOUT IT?

YOU SURE ARE PACKA NORTH INDIAN, WHO NEVER HAS VISITED SOUTH INDIA EVER IN LIFE.

I did see the movie today, it was nice. Deepika looked good in the traditional dress.

we lost you SRK

1. hype the movie
2. hype the movie
3. hype the movie
4. release during festival with as many prints
5. brag about BO collection

This is not about Chennai Express. Its good movie from Rohit Shetty standard. But we expect more than a masala movie from SRK, especially if he does one movie each year. CE is nothing close to what SRK delivered in the past.
why does SRK need a festival to release his movies??? because there is no story. See Ra.ONE, JTHJ, CE...only hype!!! mind it.
