Almost 80% of those in the list are not kannadigas. They are from tulu speaking area of mangalore and around.

Not sure if you refer to Kannadigas or "Karnatak-ites": You could add Prabhu Deva, Raju Sundaram, 'Kokila' Mohan who dominated Tamil films in the mid-80s), (Siddhalingiah's son) Murali, B. Saroja Devi, Nagesh- the greatest comedian of all times,70s heroine Sripriya, Soundarya, and possibly several others.

AnushkaSharma is not aKannadiga, just studied in Blr. Many of the others are of KA origin by ancestry, but not born and brought up in the state. So your argument has no logic. By the same logic. AnilKumble and RahulDravid are both from KA and have done very well in KA.

She is actually KONKANI ... she is a Chitrapur Saraswat Brahmin and her ancestors were from the town - Padukone in coastal Uttar-kannada district ... but as per home-state, yes she is a Kannadiga.
