Why not release the alternate ending as a Bonus on Blu-ray or dvd re-release to celebrate the 25 years? People would love to buy the re-released disks just for this! You would probably make as much money as much as you made during the initial release.

Couldn't agree more, mate. I'd love to watch a digitally remastered version with a bonus of alternate ending. I am sure, many would agree with this.
