Aashiqui 1 was a mega hit with mind-blowing music and songs, it make Kumar Sanu a superhit singer post Kishore Kumar era. Its foolish to think that any aashiqui 2, 3, 4 or whatever number can come anywhere close to it.

@Meghal, Ashiqui was a mega hit. It is true that it was because of only Music. Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal were not good actors, but the music was catchy that movie was a mega hit. The famous poster of Ashiqui, covered by coat, was visible everywhere.

100% agree. Even today, Aashiqui songs are fresh. Kumar Sanu, Nadeem Shravan Anuradha P. , pure magic !!
