A pioneer singer of the golden era of indian cinema whose singing style later copied by many as Pt. Jasraj said in a interview is no more saddened many music lovers.May her soul rest in peace.

She was a dominating singer before Lata and songs still mesmerize folks. May her Great Soul rest in peace. She, Suraiya, and Noor Jahan were all great singers in 50s and 60s.
