People who expect this as Lal Jose movie will definitively disappointed. There is hardly anything in the first half. Dileep might be the best cast for this character. Mammootty , of his caliber, doesn't have much to do with this.
frankly, I am 100% disagreeing with the post. Emmanuel is a movie, we can definitely take all our family to theaters and watch. Watching this movie gives us a lot of positive energy. I think the auther is pre assumed all those statements without watching it. All the charactes especially Mammootty and Fahad did their roles very well. You had to appreciate mammootty for doing these kind of family roles instead of funny below average comic roles. In a nut shell, this movie is better than all the current movies running now. Well done Lal jose and team.
This was a pretty decent malayalam movie. It could go for a 3 to 3.5 stars. Mamootty acting was ok (not bad performance) and Fahad....as usual is doing what he knows best... acting. Script is kept clean and simple and tries to bring some part of the coperate world's principles to the lime light. Please provide genuine ratings as this could affect the opinion/ verdict of the film. We also go watch movies if rediff reviews it as OK.
Who is Paresh Palicha? He doesn't sound to be a malayali. I believe one has to be at least a native to review language movies. Apparently, rediff is the only site where both Emmanuel and Sound Thoma have been painted disappointments..
