Is It Justified ?

Mr. Dhavan Purchase of the rights does not mean you got the rights to rape the concept.
Seller of film rights should not view only commercial angle they must look for right candidate who can do justice to their old Masterpiece.

Why this
by nikhil shah on Apr 06, 2013 11:09 AM  | Hide replies

A) Why do we need at all this "Ali duffer" in our movies, he should be more involved in item songs - he has a girlish face !!. Otherwise he should be safely smuggled to pakistan
B) The movie is a sad remake. Further "sad" is an understatement
C) Those who are praising this movie - have not seen the original and mistake art for cheapness
D) David dhawan sahab, please refrain from touching classics - and confine yourself to Raja babu and likes

Reviewers need a Reader Rating System
by rohit h on Apr 06, 2013 08:35 AM

Rediff seriously needs to configure their critic methodologies...need different kinds of critics for 1) Entertainment 2) Shah Rukh - KJo kinds and 3) Serious / Drama movies...

and also have a Reader Rating system for the Rediff Critic Reviews..most Rediff reviewers will get lower than the 'stars' given to the movies..

Remakes are awful when made by awful directors
by kunal dash on Apr 06, 2013 02:54 AM

When people run out of ideas and original thinking and creativity stops, we come across poor copies of great original movies. Although some of you have written than the movie opened to full houses, however I am not sure what to make of the current public that feeds on and grows on a diet of near vulgar movies. The very fabric of our culture has been swamped by the most unwanted of influences from other countries and we are happy to lap it up. We have become followers everywhere. We follow others in innovation and creativity and we also follow others in science. Hence, a culture gets what it deserves.
