why don't you straightaway say that you want to be called a classic, you budhao?
Isn't this supposed to be a marketing technique to promote the new Chashme baddoor. All these years no one wrote a review about the original Chashme Baddoor, why now when the new one is getting released ?? People will think that the new one is as good as the old and go for it.How cheap can publicity get to ??

I understand your angst, for someone on this day and age this is a logical thought.
Watch the 'real' Chasme Baddoor to see why Sen has been so eloquent Krish. This is no marketing strategy, and for people like Sen and I, who have grown up watching the Paranjpe version; it is difficult to see anything measuring up. I am sure that the David Dhawan caper would be a mindless laugh riot, but if you wait another 30 years there will still be fans of the 'real' one.

I completely agree with you Boby, I'm only upset because I feel that this review of such a fantastic movie will be used for cheap publicity and crowd collection.

U fool, Original has also been re-released today. The reason may be that Sai was upset with David Dhawan for remaking their work
Very Nice Raja Sen. One of your best written reviews i must say. especially statements like "time when posting pictures on one’s wall was a very literal activity " or "A time when 500 rupees went a really long way and cigarette companies merely wanted you to relax."

I watched this movie with two other college mates and we could just relate it ourselves. Movie was excellent and the songs were too good. All actors were made for their character including the famous Humlog drunkard as music teacher in this film.
