It was definitely a masterstroke by Sai in those times of mindless action cinema. A breezy comic knock laced with flavoured comedy and natural performances by all the actors.
Don't think many born in the 80's have seen this, nor would they appreciate it's simple brilliance. Those were different times and I'm glad I was old enough to watch it close enuf to it's original release date. Remains a firm favourite to this day. Not too sure about the producer's intention to release it now though..
