We indians really lack self respect.. We dont have any problem stealing someone else' things. Neither we mind defending it. Probably thats the reason rest of the world consider indians as pests. Those defending this must realise that they are destroying the talent and innovation by promoting the fakes out there.

To this generation, plagiarism has become the norm rather than the exception. In fact, Anurag Basu has gone one step ahead of Priyadharshan who lifted scenes from various Malayalam films to make one Hindi film. Now we have Anurag Basu, who lifts scenes from various international films of different languages and makes a Barfi. Why doesn't today's film makers have the patience to make a film that they can proudly call their own creation. No wonder Kiran Malhotra who having exhausted all his creativity remade Agneepath is singing praises for this cinematic theft. These film-makers are no different from the criminals who sell pirated DVDs and Books on our pavements.
