Uncomparable

I did watch a lot of movies irrespective of whatever be the language such as Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, French, Korean etc. Trust me, no actor has ever came close to this genius when it comes to natural acting and different varieties roles with ease, be it serious/comedy roles. For anyone to judge on his capability, just watch his few films and i bet they will eat their words back. The so called superstars comes nowhere near to him. May his soul RIP

shame on so called Superstars Mammotty and Mohanlal who did not even attend Thilakan's funeral. Writing blog and posting message on facebook is not enough to pay respect to the greatest actor malayalam cinema has ever produced.

Shame upon AMMA and MACTA functioning just for Mammootty and Mohanlal. They can arrange awards, but can never beat Thilakan in acting.

so that the role of the king played by nedumudi venu in his highness abdulla was meant for thilakan sir but ndeumudi was close with lal and used their frienship to get this role eventually lost this role and infact the duo did nt speak each other for years ... He was an out spoken person who did not beg for roles which is why there could be no replacement for him directors were forced to cast him in those roles.

Great Actor
by anto on Sep 25, 2012 11:48 AM

A terrific actor who has outshone every single co-star he has acted with, including the overrated superstars. The kind of perfection he brings to his characters is amazing. I have never seen his performance dips even in below average movies or even after he was physically hampered because of his health issues..A bold & straight forward man who can call a spade a spade!!!!
