there is a song every five minutes. the film rightfully belongs to sahir. s d burman stopped working with sahir after this film--reason is well known.

Probably he enjoyed most shooting Silsila with Rekha, but very tactfully he has avoided any film with Rekha or Jaya. That could lead to a new controversy. Hats Off to you Shahenshah.

Anupama, Satyakam are among the best films ever made in Hindi Cinema. Dharmendra remain the most under-rated actor even after giving setllar performances. Other like Anand, Pyaasa, Awaara, lagaan also deserve the list of timeless classics.
