she is hesitant because she used to sleep with her married prducer and when she got pregnant she forced him to divorce his wife (with two children). Though in earlier interviews she used to deny very strongly about any link up with him, she even told that he is like her brother. She used to be very arrogant and demanding in her early career. She is not a shy person by any means. Read some of her interviews during late 80's even early 90s. He hid away for so long as she is seen by Indian as an immoral humn being.
Also if you check her filmography, in her top highest grossing films someone else spoke for her. she has a terrible voice but got accepted because of her body and being helped by other good voices. She is a disgrace for Indian films.
She has some propaganda machine in Indian media who always backs her up, even when she is terrible. The journos who are fond of her does everything to promote her. There is a c grade journo called sk jha who always praises her but he also admiited that he wanted to be with her and he knows that her husband does not like him for that. She has very limited expressions and does the same thing over and over again.

but it is true she is excelent in doing funny faces and comical caricature. A very famous Indian actress Jaya Pradha (who is also a respected polotician) said about her "making voices is not acting". This reamrk was widely apprciated by critics. If you see sridevi's comedy you will see in most of the time she is making voces and sound to make people laugh. She always "acts" and you know she is actually "acting".

He sure does have a terrible voice. I saw her on KBC she was looking BAD ( and I mean REALLY BAD) When she opened her mouth she was worse.

I'm sorry but you are a misinformed and unaware writer. The whole world is touting the movie as a very touching and heartwarming film; not to mention, Sridevi got a standing ovation afterwards. Please do your homework before writing something as biased as this piece.
Give the Film a Chance gUYS...its sooo unfair to write stuff without having WATCHED the MOVIE..I will reserve judgement until I see EV firsthand..not base my words on SECONDHAND opinions...
For first few days you guys were fast asleep . And, now suddenly you know and want to tell us everythin about it , even your biased thoughts ! Think you missed out on the reviews which compared Sridevi to Meryl streep and the standing ovation ? or maybe its selective writin. Fool around fellas !
