In the history of Indian Cinema & debates about proudness of regional cinema....I think......Only two cinemas are best....1) Raja Harishchandra (1st movie in India, a speechless one) & 2) Pushkar (Kamal Hasan)
What ever I have read about this movie, it seems to me that it will be nice and thought provoking movie. I would like to watch whenever I get a chance. Most of Malayalam movies are of serious type and forces the audience to think. They are different from other regional indian films.

Neelamegham.. We mallus are severe critics of our own movies.. the biggest superstars can have a long line of flops if we don't like the story, acting, presentation et al.. We don't make movies for people of your calibre.. If we wanted you to watch our movies we'd make something like rowdy rathode or one of ur salman khan flicks !! Malayalam films have been inspiring film makers in India for decades. Sure there'll be some bad peas in the pot; but there is no denying that when it comes to making movies, theres no one like mallus. Google to know more !

It might feel horrible to you because u guys come to the theatre to laugh and shake ur body. U dont like movies which makes you think...only because u guys hate to think...so these movies are not meant for u..

I have wondered about that too even though I am a Mallu myself. I guess the guy who started Rediff is a Mallu. Not sure whether that is the reason. I do believe that that quality of Malayalam movies is way better than other regional languages and even Bollywood movies.
