As the author said above, if marathi movies getting slot of 11.45AM on weekday, ofcource theater will empty..that means Raj Takre is right agitating against these outsider theater owners to give marathi movies prime slot in evening atleasst 1 show...why ppl outside not understanding local small issues ..or this hindi media trying sensation in this too to provoke ppl for TRPs...respect other language too....these 18yr-20yr childish reporters dont want india to be united by their 3rd class journalism...
Story based 'good' movies made in marathi, bengali and tamil (they have masala too) only...but relaastic, practical movies made in only these 3 language...Bolluwood is just masala, model show..no logic..dir like Rajkumar hirani,maniratam and actors like aamir , nana, irfan, nasser,are few good exceptionals..Did u find any movies on farmer suside, testtube baby like issues, u can find in marathi movies.

Better movie or good story,but at the end of the day,an average person wants entertainment and value of money,he watches what he likes,it would be hindi,english etc.Almost all regional films work because of regional viewers,except marathi movies.For some reason most marathis do not watch marathi movies in theatres,this their peculiar problem and nothing can be acheived by stopping screening of bhopuri films or forcefull screening of b grade marathi movies in theatres,got it
i am in mumbai now,would not even watch this marathi movie even if given free ticket by MNS,i am sure none of my marathi friends would also not go to watch,simply because they dont feel its worth.Raj may bark,but its his own people who keeps away from marathi movies.

They are way better than those Z grade hindi movies: Ek tha tiger/joker/dabang/ra.one & list goes on!!!!! Marathi movies r quality. No wonder they win national awards for best movies/actors/directors almost every year.. MIND IT!

If they are better,then why do the marathis go to watch hindi movies,by avoiding marathi movies.What quality are you talking about.In case who are u,a hipocrate,we watch what we like,to me marathi movies are c grade,if MNS forces a theatre owner to screen marathi movie,he can,but dont expect people to watch.If a good movie is made in marathi,i will certainly watch it,if its my time and money worth.got it dumb head

People do watch marathi movies. Since last few years marathi movies are getting good revenues. In a matter of few years it will definitely reach a new level as they offer genuine entertainment unlike like those substandard salman sharuk overacted cheap dirt films made for rural n ignorant public (60% of indian population)
marathis movies are cheap and mostly b-grade movies. if you really want entertainment than u watch the best. not movies with cheap production values or ugly actors. anyway, looking for to sunny paajis next movie.

i am sure u and your entire family has watched dabang!u hipcrate,gatti.No marathis watches marathi movies,thats fact and can be seen by the rushes...
thanks for reviewing marathi film and now onwards expecting more reviews on marathi films. But, 4 star given for this frame to frame copy film looks very funny. This is too worst film thats why lacking of audiance.
This is not good...i am not originally marathi but born and brought up in bombay and I have watched many marathi movies and they have a class when it comes to story telling and acting they should not even look for inspiration in bollywood many of marathi movies are class part from bollywood movies, they should continue doing the great job they have been doing rather getting lured by rubish movie making tricks of bollywood of hype creation and pseudo marketing gimmicks
