was the winner from the very first day. The contestants against him were not real threat for him even though because of blessing from Mangeshkar sisters an average singer like Devender Pal Singh entered final to threaten him for the award. This season of Indian Idol was very dull and boring. Better change the judges in next season to bring life to this show.

I agree. It is Hindi Idol not Indian idol. The singers should be told to sing in various Indian languages so that whole India participate in voting.

Wrong, Hindi is National language u agree or dont, so Indian Idol, but this season saw average singers nothing special abt them, I thought Kaustubh Deshpande was better from the lot, elimiated for looks

pradeep is corect other r scheduled languages... whereas Hindi is Rajbhasha i.e. language of the state.

yup. hindi is declared as official language of India. there is a quite difference between official and national language brother Arvind.

Yes the correct terminology is that Hindi is the first official language of the Union of India & not national language which all of us think it is.
