A great realty show
by Bibhu Mohanty on Oct 25, 2012 10:33 AM

Sorry, I am not agreed with the above review. This kind of movies should be made every now and then instead of looking for 100 cr revenue club. And It's not only the story of two close friends, but about something larger. It's about a story where cause of the people/ community is larger than friendship in one hand and on the other side duty more relevant than friendship. Quite a good movie. Government should make these type of movies as tax free.

My rating 4.50>.

Movie was good. Although could have been edited well. Kudos to Jha for keeping the issue focused as he has always done. Review is BAKWAAS..

come off it. Jha's script is largely a lift from "Hazaro kwaishe aisi" with clever tweaking of things here and there.Jha has never been original nor a grfest story teller. He is just an average director who thrives on general ignorance ofrealities in bollywood, melo-dramatises scenes in the name of intensity and is generally over hyped like K jo...

then you need to look around. This movie is a lift from a south indian movie and also hazaron khwaishe aisi with slight twist in script to show as original. A very laughable effort by jha, I must say. But then avg person is ignorant and would praise teh maker/director. ha..ha..ha. gr* country, this India... ignorance rules.

Surojit Dutta
Chakravyuh
by Surojit Dutta on Oct 25, 2012 12:15 AM  | Hide replies

Chakravuyh has been tried to be written off in the same way Jha's Aarakshan was done(which was also a very very good movie). Is national and regional politics playing some part here ? True in some scenes Chakravyuh is over dramatic but we know Shah Rukh Khan hams but don't we see his films ? Arjun Rampal has tried to give his best but there seems to be a sense of remorse in the article as to why Ajay Devgan has not been taken in his place ? When we can accept an ill matched Hritik Roshan as Vijay Chavan in Agneepath remake then why not Rampal for roles as in Chakravyuh ? I feel he has given a very good account of himself here.

I agree with you. Ajay has his space and so has Rampal. Rampal has been doing good work of late , was a pleasure in Rajneeti ( an indianised version of godfather done to death by many pretenders of film making craft). As for Hrithik, he only has body and dancing skills to show. He is a complete hammer, non actor who only shows style. You are right.
