Yash Chopra's recent movies forgotten
by Maihoon Don on Oct 22, 2012 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

Yash Chopra in 80s had become a failed director with box office duds like Silsila, Vijay, Faasle etc.

It was only Shahrukh who helped Yashraj revive itself as a director and stay in the news.

If Darr_DDLJ_DTPH_VZ_ChakDe had not happened, Yashraj would have been history long back. So do not forget to mention these too in the long list of Yash's movies.

DTPH - unbearable for me to watch.
by Naveen Babu on Oct 22, 2012 01:51 PM  | Hide replies

Most of the movies mentioned are good/very good but not classical except DTPH, My close friends circle went to see this movie on the very first day buying black tickets and within an hour myself with some of us came could no more tolerate it and walked out, though most of the ladies in our group enjoyed the movie, this was one of the 2 movies I walked out , the other being Kamoshi.

I agree. I also walked out of the same two movies. DTPH was an irritation to say the least.

DTPH was hit thanks to Clleavage-show from Madhuri (which she never did ealier) and Choereography by Shiamak Davar. Karishma was ordinary still won award.
