Just like a typical Madhur Bhandarkar film , we saw his rise .. it may be time for his fall . Comparing Chandni Bar with Heroine is stupid . Chandni Bar was Original , honest while Heroine is revamp of Fashion and bits of Page 3 with bigger budget thats all . I think either needs to go back to basics and start from Drawing board or move on as Public can not be shown same script ( Heroine , Fashion or Page 3) by just revamping with new stars again and again ;-)
Madhurji - the movie probably has made reasonably good money (most of it in the first weekend) but that was primarily because of
i) your reputation as a good director ii) the hype iii) the sleaze incorporated in the movie in the name of art iv) Kareena Kapoor's popularity and good performance
Heroine is a sleazy and badly scripted and directed movie which was not expected from a National Award winning director like you.
A movie becomes a hit with the audience when its popularity grows each day like this year's Kahaani, Agnipath ,OMG and the most recent Sridevi's English Vinglish.

Even English Vinglish is much more entertaining and a good film to watch, with family in the rage of nowadays films, OMG is to be watch only with parents, hats off to such directors and producers who make such movies in nowadays scenario< heronie is a total waste of time , money and energy involved to watch that film
