Not a Millineum Actor

Amitabh may be a great super star. When it comes to acting talent, there are greater actors with loads of talent in South Indian Cinema like NTR, ANR, Sivaji Ganesan, Kamal Hassan and Mohan Lal. And when it comes to Super Stardom, I think nobody is even in near comparison to Rajanikant in today's Indian Cinema

I sense a strong regional bias in your assessment and a resentment towards actors from Bollywood that entertains most of India any many other countries.

Just check How many stars u mentioned say that Big B is their source and inspiration ! Just look at those picture of Big B's party how many stars attended ranging from Hindi cinema to Tamil ,Telugu etc.How big a star Bachchan is evident from the fact that when he was declared superstar of millennium by BBC beating all Hollywood legends forget about Indian cinema.Mind it he is 70 years old where will be other starts at that age in public memory ? No doubt Rajnikant is most humble and down to earth start on planet And he is in his own league but kamal hasan NTR Shivaji Mohan lal etc r simply regional star like nowadays Hindi movie stars like Khans and Kapoors , who r star for few years. They r here today and gone tomorrow and replace by some one else ...while Bachchan will remain simply irreplaceable.Bachhan has fan following from Morocco to Indonesia and from Russia to South Africa.

The overrated actor

Amitabh Bachchan can by no stretch of imagination be called a millennium actor. He is a A class actor but not the best. His acting prowess pales before super actors like Dilip Kumar in "Shakti", or Sanjeev Kumar in " Sholay","Trishul" or evan a la Shatrughan Sinha in "Kaala Patthar".

i agree with u as far as dilip Kumar in shakti but in sholay u can not compare their actin as it was a multi star film and not like 2 heroes film and as far as Shatrughna sinha is concerned then he knows only to yell out loudly , he is not worth comparing with Amitabh Bachchan.

Don's pic isn't correct
by NY Desi on Oct 09, 2012 10:28 PM

The photo displayed for 'Don' isn't actually Don's photo. It is a scene from around the same time released another AB-Zeenat hit 'The Great Gambler'.
