The likes of Arthur J Pais are nothing but PR Agents
by Neel S on Oct 15, 2012 06:32 AM

Arthur J Pais is a PR Agent, not a journalist.

If an NRI kid wants to get 15 minutes of fame, all he has to do is to invite him for a party, offer him food and drinks and some freebies, he will write that you are a budding and most talented actor/director. If you had acted in a couple of average movies, he will wax eloquent about you having starred in two of last year's biggest hits.

If you are a producer and are releasing a film, just like you would engage the likes of Taran Adarsh and Komal Nahta (the Trade Analysts masquerading as film critics) to promote your film through glowing reviews by paying in cash and in kind, you can engage your PR Agent a.k.a. Freelance Journalist Arthur Pais to write great things about your movie. If you don't, you will get the most stinging review, even if the man had not watched the film!!!

Cocktail - a hit?
by simon seth on Oct 14, 2012 08:58 PM

Cocktail was hyped but actually failed at BO.Saif is no longer safe at BO for producers/directors.Just follow the track record of his last three/four films and you know. Paid reviews or reports dont change reality.
