Its sad that Yash Chopra is signing off his career with pathetic Shahrukh Khan instead of having Amitabh one last time in his film as central character....really sad...
Undoubtedly, as I cry always seeing Deewar and sholay, these two films, i have seen umpteen times, but sill long for the dialogues essayed by the actor, It is like Taj Mahal of Hindi cinema- sholay and Deewar. Some good dialogues still rocks the scene.

one of my friend "FEROZE" he says ... Yaar this year we did not see Sholay evene once !!??!! That shows ... He was crazy to watch thhe movie many times in a year .... !!!
It was Prakash Mehra's Zanjeer that impressed me most. Coming out from an era of soft romantic movies this film was in sharp contrast and brought out the best in Amitabh Bachhan. Equal credit to producer director Prakash Mehra.
Deewar is best film of Big B till date. My other favourite was sholay and shakti for his restrained perfomance, while i like chenni just like his ponytail, kabhie kabhie is a film where the actor ever played the romantic hero. I can not tell which one I can consider as the best of Mr Bachchan. Deewar, Sholay, Chennai are good always and watchable. I cried seeing Deewar ( last scene)and so I cried while seeing sholay(last scene). Hats off to Salim-Javed for giving us our actor as angry hero.
