In first Para Author criticizes the person knowing English Language to not knowing english language. and then from very next para he himself indulges in language which can be understand by very few. Author is writing the review for mass or Class ? Many of his reader must not be masters of literacy then why use such a language where full stop comes after three or four lines and have to rush for dictionary every now and then.
I don't have a problem if this article was written for students who are doing masters in literacy. But this is a film review for common people on a general portal which reaches to masses.

Though I appreciates Raja sen's knowledge of film & he does understands cinema but still I do agree to what you say..Rediff is for more general audience so there is no point flaunting one's grasp in the language in these sites..They should go and write individual filmy blogs...But with huge traffic thanks to Sen bashing i think Rediff enjoys it ;)

movie is flop. Nowadays films like barfi, omg and english vinglish have spoilt the whole fun of watching movies. Bhai, movies are meant for entertainment and not for education. If you want to educate yourself then go to library. What is the need to go to cinema? We go to cinema to chill out.
I am waiting eagerly for JTHJ to be released on diwali. Prior to that i dont think there is any movie worth watching

you are incorrect. these are not educational movies, but preaching movies. I agree that people should go elsewhere if they want to be preached. Just walk to a nearby church and pastor can preach for hours. Or our very own "shining star" - zakir naik's channel. But preaching in movies get boring

English Vinglish.. a fil that was bound to success

I was only 16 when Sridevi debuted as a Telugu heroin opposite NTR (30 years her senior)in Vetagadu .She has been a class actor , natural to the core and was outstanding in some films like Solawa Savan , Red Rose , etc . 15 years later she has made a comeback with a very nice script , and with her talent it is no surprise that she has received rave reviews . As a fan of her I was really waiting for a good movie and hope that she continues to act in more movies...Debashis Padhi
