This review is a piece of crap.

What do you mean by 'is not as enjoyable to watch as it deserved to be' ? What more do you want in a movie ? It has got great suspense, great story, and great acting as well. You say film is too long but then you say that they should have discussed the mechanism of accident in more detail. What do you mean ? It seems that you haven't watched the movie before reviewing it. It is the best film I have watched this year. And who cares about your baseless review- the film is doing very well both in India and outside. This shows that the film is really good. I watched this film yesterday and would say its a must watch....

Spot On Mr. Sen!!!
by S S on Dec 03, 2012 09:52 AM

I have always read your reviews and many a times even disagreed with it, but this review and rating is spot on. This movie barely deserves a 2 but yes with the star cast and their acting (barring Aamir of course who has done a shoddy job for once) a 2.5 is justified but for the director and producers I will give a -2.5 since they had all the resources and yet they messed up with a sub-par movie like this....

nawazuddin siddiqui

the character in the plot wudnt hav looked that significant if it wasnt played so brilliantly by nawazuddin siddique, looking every inch of what he was supposed to portray he really is a fine actor. But the film overall disappointed. I somehow (may be for the first time) agree with Raja here. Rani could hav some significance to her character. But i would say it was kareena's show all the way. She looked hot yet classy

rating ek tha tiger 3 stars and talaash 2.5 stars.. do you write reviews while sleepwalking??

which movie are you talking about when you say nawazuddin siddiqui steals the film... did you copy paste this from your previous reviews? do you maintain templates for actors which you use inadvertently??!!

Now, you are the one who needs a 2 month holiday! Happy new year

I liked the movie.Although slightly slow and like an expanded version of CrimePatrolDastak presented by AnupSoni, the last 30 minutes does the trick.

When I finished watching,I was shocked by the suspense and was touched to the deep core of my heart. The personal tragedy of KareenaKapoor and AmirRani is heart rendering. The last half hour makes it completely different from CrimePatrolDastak or any other movie made in India before. It is spineChilling..

wasted opportunity
by Ramanasri buddhiraju on Dec 02, 2012 08:12 PM  | Hide replies

Am I being too cruel? Perhaps, but because of the wasted opportunity. Someone asked me if Talaash was a watchable film, and indeed it is. It's better put together than a lot of the films we see here, and definitely strongly acted, but ends up so, so much less enjoyable than it deserved to be. Very true. It could hv been made into a riveting film, but wasted opportunity.
