Apart from the 2 you mentioned, they have missed Om Prakash, Satyen Kappu, Pinchoo Kapoor and Om Shivpuri
After a long, long time rediff has come up with a good article/ quiz. Now what made them do this excellent work? Somehow it slipped beneath the server and ended here? Anyway very nice, more needed about lesser know actors of yester years.
Neither I say this is a great article, nor that the quiz is too good. But honestly it has made me (or any one who used to watch olden days movies) nostalgic. Silently but significantly these actors have contributed (even there are guinness record holders?). Sadly most of the younger generation end up arguing in the forums on issues such as SOS, JTHJ etc. Should realise that there were so many such actors who have peformed consistently for decades without any sign of retirement! Kudos to them Also thanks to rediff to bring out some interesting facts about these actors.
Thanks rediff for publishing this story. Nowadays it's rare to hear about actors who have silently worked but had made impressions with their performances. From Mohan Chotti to All these actors were really talented ones. Though there were many more like Lalita Pawar, Leela Mishra, Sulochana, Jayshree Gadkar, Meena T. in the female category. Hope Rediff publishes story about them too. Thanks Rediff.
