I am really sorry if i am offending SRK fans. I am just a normal avg indian movie fan. I dont think JTJH deserves all the hype and marketing. Maybe Yash Chopra's demise has helped market the movie better. This man has made classics like Silsila. The film has no logic and not even a feel good movie. The script is very weak and plots even more ridiculous. Imagine this, a rich top notch restaurant hires a fish seller to be a waiter. Katrina who is a punjabi hindu is a devout christian who seeks favours from jesus for everything. To save SRK from dying after an accident, she promises God not to see him again. SRK suddenly becomes an army major / captain of a bomb diffusing squad. Dont u need to have expertise or relevant degrees? Anushka gets permission to film SRK in his operations(who gives them permission?) n falls n love wiv him. Again another accident in London n SRK gets amnesia. Forgets 10 yrs of his life. Katrina to pretend to be his wife and poor things gets feelings all over again. SRK is able to diffuse bomb in London tube (jus like tat.. guess UK police standards r so low) he gets bac his memory. Fights wiv kat n comes back to work in India n the lady love follows him to profess her love for him. phew.... pls guys dont call this entertainment. Anusha n Katrina wear hot pants n sing n dance, plenty of cleavage n beautiful locales of ladakh. Movie is so boring n annoying. SRK looks really old to be 25. Save ur money and time, wil release in TV in 2 months

Collections is not everything. How a movie or a star is received in each corner of India and world and what craze he creates is equally imp. In this aspect, no one can beat SRK.
He is also the only actor to equal Dilip Kumar for max. no. of 8 FF awards for best actor.

There are 3 million indians in usa and even if quarter of them watch JTHJ that should drive the collection to nearly 10million dollars, so this movie making 1.2million dollars in the first week and taking no.8 in american boxoffice is not big. What is big is making the same amount of collection for the next 4-5 weeks and staying atop in top ten, thats big. if that happens then tell me.
