I wonder what is so great in repeating the same plot line a number of times. I mean there are so many human relationships and situations a talented director can explore, rather than just 'boy meets girl falls in love' formula?
That is where Hollywood differs from our film industry. They experiment and innovate. We stick to formulas and copy.
'The biggest film industry in the world' does not have an answer to the Oscars. Why? There are no movies with that quality ever getting made here. Regional languages do make different movies and experiment, but their efforts sink in the face of Bollywood onslaught.
