most indian movies are melodramatic...
by Jaguar on Nov 15, 2012 06:50 AM

well, most Indian movie directors/actors have no idea of restrain or subtle acting. so most movies turn out to be over-top-acting and heavy doses of melodrama.. Hail Mr.Shivaji Ganesan, Dr.Raj Kumar, NTR.. true legends of HAM acting!!

What a reviewer?
by Neel S on Nov 14, 2012 08:16 PM  | Hide replies

The reviewer doesn't even bother to acknowledge the septuagenarian actress who plays the title character, REVATHY (Not to be confused with the star of the 80s and 90s who has now moved to direction)!

She just mentions her as "the mother"!!!!

Pavithra manages to mention just about everybody associated with the film, except the lead actress!

What a shame? It's like reviewing the Hindi film Mammo by Shyam Benegal and not even mentioning the lead actress Fareeda Jalal!
