Same tactics were used to save the sinking ship cpl of years ago... the name of the ship was "My Name is Khan". SRK even challenged that his movie will break the record of 3 Idiots... Might be JTHJ is doing well but remember by the time JTHJ breaks-even, it will run out of steam...going by the reviews, word of mouth doesnt seem to be that great and 2 weeks later another big movie is slated for release starring Aamir Khan...
I watched this movie in one of theaters in London must say it's was a pretty good movie not excellent! But definitely worth watching 2-3 times if you like romantic story with a few twists..
I would surely recommend this for any one to go & enjoy..the only negative thing is movie could have been a bit less lengthy!!!

It won't break 3 idiot records, I don't go to watch a movie so that it breaks a record. I got to watch a movie to enjoy it overall..I'm not into numbers mate, but surely it's a blockbuster movie!

Which theaters buddy? I heard many theaters are going empty and the movie will over and out in a week's time. Dont be communal and hype JRK (Jerk Khan)

Only rediff - unit of red chillies can give 3 stars to such an average movie. Not entertaining. Rabbi song is also flop like SRKs acting..SRK is ala Devanand
I have not seen the movie.. but for last 15 days or so all english and hindi channels are bombarded with JTHJ advertisement.... Seems, SRK is now more depending on 'movie-promotion-tricks' rather than movie itself.. Ironically, he was also given best marketed movied award for Ra-one in FF function recently.. was it really an appreciation..?????

This is how he even marketed MNIK, by creating an unwanted controversy by praising Pak cricketers.
