Aseem talked abt a lot of issues in the house, I watched the 24*7 streaming at times and he along with siddhu and sapna used to discuss things relevant to him. But I was surprised not a single one was telecasted in the 1 hour show. Infact at times the channel also muted the online streaming. If I was in his place, I would be miffed too because the actual me which I wanted ppl to know, was not telecasted. It was very very imp to him since he had the sedation charges & many many ppl dont know him yet has an opinion. I think he was evicted because of the political pressure on channel or may be coz' ppl did not vote for him coz' they didnot see much of him
I would love to waste my time anywhere if I get paid for that, like this guy got. Think of it you have just waste your time in return for money. It cant get better.
Every cartoonist has to understand its limits. Greats like R.K.Narayan, Bal Thakre were good cartoonist and they are expert in depicting reality through cartoons without hurting national flag, emblem, Constitution etc. Aseem Trivedi is not a traitor but he has certainly insulted the constitution and national emblem. A constitution and national emblem is above the nation and one should respect it no matter the situation in the country. We have to understand that people have elected the representatives in parliament. Many people consider election as holiday and go for picnics with their family and the end result is less than 50% elections and illegal immigrants vote for a particular party and they rule us forever and then we cry " x party is corrupt" and they have spoiled the image of parliament. Corruption exists in every country but the level varies. What are we doing to curb corruption at individual level. Even today we pay an extra amount to Govt officers for faster telephonic connection and to complete the formalities in quick time. At individual level we have to stop corruption from happening. In a democratic country people are supreme. My request to all is please vote the next time in 2014. Don't assume that all parties are similar and refrain for voting. We gave 1 party many chances to rule the country for more than 50yrs.

very beautifully written, mr. mandar. all words were properly placed. i just want to add with a request to the election commission that name of the present congress party should be changed and the word congress should not be included. this is very particular word which fools all people of our country and as you rightly said useless candidates are coming to power to rule us for half a decade. u see, once the party name will be changed, sonia, rahul and manmohan will never won, forget the chance of others. we may see a joint party ruling the country with their good candidates.

With due respect, Let me ask you a question pls, if you have to chose a leader between two - and both of the them are more corrupt than one other, what will you do.. The only thing one can do, is refrain from chosing their leader.. that's what people are doing..They just Do NOT vote.

What is the used of election?? We elected AA Raja.. he looted like a thief. We could not do anything.. Parliament did not do anything.. only the respected Supreme Court intertefered and sent him to jail. Now he is back on bail enjoying his life as MP. Why shud we spoil and blacken our index finger for these kind of persons??
