I dont agree with masand on the music reviews. Its really very well written. Except for Punjabi song Kiklikalerdi (which is good too) does not fit the movie all the songs are fresh.

Every character in this movie is well crafted. It is one of those rare movies, which has real essence of everything.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching LSTCK and thanked my stars for not letting my time & money go down the drains. I am so thankful to the director (Sameer Sharma) to dare, step-up and make such a authentic Punjabi movie!! He has taken care of so many small bits of pieces of Punjabiyat that I got nostalgic after watching most of the movie. I agree the movie drags at a few places but overall I would surely recommend this movie to be watched. A couple of the songs seem not to be matching with the sequences but when you listen to them offline ... they are just perfect. Amit Trivedi has taken care of bringing in the tunes of "algojey" and typical Punjabi beats all so perfectly. Hats-off to Amit!! The actors have done their best and truly speaking Mamaji, Darji and Harman standout!! Go ahead and enjoy the movie!!
The movie is simple, yet good to watch....enjoyed it. On the flip side, the first half is a bit slow. Overall better than some of the high profile movies of released this year
