Now a days Malalayam movies showing films on T.V should have English sub titiles , as these movies have more suspense in it and very much interesting to watch.
A similar movie came out a couple of weeks back called Josettanthe Hero which in turn was similar to Mullassery madhavan menon Nemom P.O. .Strangely all these movies starred Anoop Menon !!! Anyway seems like Prithvis hard work(outs) seems to have paid off as the audiences are liking the movie. With a shoddy choice of tired Goolimaster and Coppras around, this may just be the best bet for moviegoers

Please understand that the average mallu is dark with balding oiled hairline, big potbelly,bad teeth and pimples. So for them seeing a well built hero is like seeing the 9th world wonder. They can digest only grandfather stars and of course box office god Santosh Pandit

Dear Pradeep, from your message it is clear that you don't like M&M. I don't want to comment on that. Prithviraj in his last Asianet interview had told that he would like to act in the Malayalam film industry for five decades. But if he is going to act in movies like Hero, he will not even survive for one decade. In the last two years his only decent movie is Indian Rupee.

Dont agree with you. Last week Prithvi had a very decent movie called Manjadikuru. How many people watched that despite getting great reviews? Whereas Hero has alreay collected 5 crore plus. Like it or not Prithvi is considered the new Superstar by young audiences. In fact all youngsters have been accepted of late Jaysurya (Beautiful), Kunjako (Ordinary, Mallu Singh), Fahad (22Fk, Diamond Necklace). Audiences are exhausted with the nonsense churned out by the big M's and the useless nonsense they churn out. Mamooty being the worst of the two, with Lal at least trying to do something but somehow his acting seems to be no longer natural
