The article and some of the comments that followed just show how cynical and pessimistic we have become as a society. Amir has done a brave job by highlighting that even after giving in 200 % to dowry demands,there is no gurantee of safety for the girls involved. why do we need a celeb to shake and shock us out of our apathy and acceptance of status quo. All that amir is doing is that he brings these issue on the public platform so that the civil society can introspect and seek solutions within.The answers have to come from us and not from some outside force. All who criticize the show are only are active pessimist and armchair argumentators who will nevrer be shaken ot of their stupor. The show has a positive intent and tries to give a360 degree view.
