at least rajinikanth movies hav become hits n expanded the market but uppi`s all movies are utter failure becoz of him manny non kannadigas n good kannadigas hav given up watching kannada movies .......... he is another face of jagesh

Sudeep's introduction to Devathas and Asuras, Narka and svarga and universe is good. The movie story is bad. As Steven Speilberg says "people have forgotten how to tell a story". Unnecessary dialogues by Upendra time and again makes the movie look like yakksagana recital. But nevertheless, Kannada movie in 3D still holds the audience in spellbound. -FIRSTDAYBUFF
I have been reading almost all the reviews published in Rediff of all languages. The reviuewers/critics dare to write negative in case of Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Where as in Kannada, its always praising. Why its so? All Kannada movies made are so good...or r these critcis scared of backlash from the producers/goonda behind the star heroes. Because of this type of attitude/ protectionism the Kannada cinema is not growing as the other regional cinemas have prosperd.

Suppandi, i am a kannadiga and a welwisher of the industry. But i oppose the protectionsim/ goondaism. Its really detrimental for the growth of the industry...

Suppandi: There are Kannadigas in AP and Kerala also, why dont there release kannada movie there. Recently there Jr NTR movie released in 150 across Karnataka but our own kannada movie Pari is also released on the same day but no taker. Its all depend upon the people and the media.

That is because, there r less kannadigas in AP and Kerala when compared to Karnataka. If less audience, less business, so movies not released

One has to see the number of people speaking kannada in Bangalore. They speak every other un-understandable language other than kannada

The last Kannada movie I had seen in Chennai was "Mungaru Male". After that no good movies made may be.

First of all there is no story in this movie. Uppi's dialogues are the only highlight in this movie which can't be matched by anyone.Story-screenplay-singing-dialogues all in one and only upendra.

chandran, i need not learn from you...and let us learn to appreciate only good movies...I can take a bet, the theatres will be empty from sunday-monday....btw, I watch Kannada movies in theatre and appreciate only good movies...and I watched this movie on first day..have you???
