Going by Raja Sen's reviews, I guess the movie should be good. He usually writes good for SRK movies only..... And most of the times, if the movie is good, he will write "bad".....

Jannat 2

Well Kunal Deshmukh (director) we expected if not better, a movie of the same level as Jannat. But you fall too short. So short that we start feeling bored after interval as story refuses to move forward. I presumed that the movie would be loosely based on Nicolas Cage’s “Lord of War,” (a must watch) however the story in Jannat 2 is too underdeveloped to be made into a good movie.
Jannat 1 was a class apart movie with a very strong script/ plot/ direction and off course songs. Jannat 1 showed the rise of a regular guy to maddening heights of Betting world with believable logic. Jannat 2 opens up well and we expect the hero to grow in a similar fashion but in “Illegal Arms Trade.” However, he gets confined to Delhi only as the movie becomes more of a cat-mouse game between police & mafia.
The surprise package in Jannat 2 is Randeep Hooda. He has done a really great job and is the other hero of the movie with almost same screen time. Esha Gupta is sweet but too model like.Emraan Hashmi is now almost repetitive with his performance but likable. The movie uses expletives freely like never before to throw in realism and not everybody is going to enjoy it.

'Kaksparsha' presents a realistic tale

Congratulations to Mahesh vaman Manjerekar for making such a film and pulling it of successfully. Based on real story for Usha Datar, re-written by Girish Joshi, Kaksparsha never for a single moment diverts from its subject which is coming of age love story. Guys watch this Marathi film set in pre-independence era set in Konkan. Superb performances from actors Sachin Khedekar, Sanjay Khapre, Ketaki Mategaonkar, Vaibhav Mangle, Priya Bapat, Abhijit Kelkar, Saksham Kulkarni and others, makes it more impressive movie. Music and background music have been handled well and so is the wonderful cinematography. Showing at cinemas this week, it is the most impressive film among the ones released this week; much better than crap movies like jannat2 and fatso. Another film which hopefully will take Marathi cinema ahead.

Reddy anna, I'll keep on writing and promoting Marathi films on any forum possible. I sincerely hope that rediff will take note of my actions and promote Marathi films exactly as it promotes any other regional language films. Watch Kaksparsha and you'll believe that it is much better film released this week; better than jannat2 and fatso.
