is a master piece movie so won't see often in bollywood. Jaggudada gave life time best performance as a protective brother and Anna gave memorable performance, even Suresh Obaroi gave good performance in the movie. Overall it's movie for which you can own dvd of.

Actually, Nana had outright plagiarised Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man. Still, he was commendable enough.
why she attending premier and standing as if she was part of movie. Parinda is a master piece and you wont see such a movie too often in bollywood. But show stealer is Jaggudada and Anna. Even Suresh Oberoi was good too. Overall it is a master piece of which you can own dvd.
Just 2 days back wife of Boney Kapoor passed away. How can Anil Kapoor can go to Film Premiere or any kind of Party.We never understand logic of these page 3 celebrities

I watched Parinda on the big screen way back in 1989 when video cassettes were the norm , still remember the 6 -9 show at Alpana Cinema in Delhi , I was just 10 years old . After that I have watched this movie at least 15 times at various stages of life ...

Yes , you're right but in those days security checks were strict only in the best of cinema halls ..and I pestered my parents to take me to this Anil - Jackie movie to the extent that they had no option but to take me there .. at the end of the movie I was disturbed for a day or two because of the high tension in some scenes , good observation by you anyways , cheers .
This is the prmeier of 1942: A Love Story & not parinda, hence the reason there is no Nana, Jackie or Madhuri (I'm surprised no one else has noticed this).
With regards to all the negative comments about Anil Kapoor; I seriously can't understand why people make up such stories/comments about one of the finest actors in Bollywood & the least manipulative actor ever.
Why would Anil be scared of Naseerudin, when he acted with Naseerudin & Jackie in Karma?

@jotinder, regarding negative comments I just wanted to inform you that I was crazy for Anil-Jackie pair during my college days and have watched all their movies. I am 42 now. I used to read all the film magazines during since 1985. I still remember article in 1998 Stardust, in which it was mentioned that Parinda was first offered to Amitabh Bachchan but he didnt accept it. Then they considered Naseer but it was Anil who recomended Jackie for this role. It was clearly mentioned that he was unhappy with casting Naseer as he was considered as the briliant actor (due to art actor image)

If we talk about Karma, it was a multistarrer and everyone had tailormade roles - DilipKumar, Nasser, Jackie and Anil.

Moreover Karma was out and out commercial movie whereas Padinda was like an art movie and there was a scope to perform better in Parinda. During Karma Anil was a newcomer but during Parinda he was established star with MR India.

I wasn't referring that you were being negative to Anil Kapoor in general, by the way : ) I was just saying general I read negative things about Anil Kapoor which always surprises me as he is a great actor & keeps clear of controversies, would you say?
I think he probably recommended jackie, because they were friends.
Also, was AMitabh Bachan offered anil's role or jackie's role?

doen't matter whether role of jaggudada has been offered to Amitabh/Naseer. For me Jaggudada is only suitable for the role of protective big brother and nobody else can do better justice to the role then he did in the movie.
