There is a lot of violence against women in India, Pakistan and third world countries. Similarly there is violence against women in westren societies as well. Where is the documentry of Katie piper and many others in these civil and tolerant societies. We have problems just like anyone else but ours are overly exxagerated and presented in a way that we are demons.
I wonder when will Islam world opens up into modernity and when will the women come out of Burkha. Let Allah give the intelligence to Muslims to respect woman.

To educate the women in Islamic world, it will be good if the intelligent and secular women like Edvige Antonia Maino, Teesta, Arundhati Roy, Burkha Dutt, Sagarika Ghosh ,Mallika Sarabhai, Shabana Azmi, Mayawati, Mamata Banerjee, Romila Thapar, Jayaprada, Girija Vyas , Kanimozhi......etc. are given an one -way ticket. Let these honourable ladies go there and educate the women over there.
