fond memories
by Akhilesh Mohan on Mar 09, 2012 01:53 PM

I remember Nana from the days when he was shooting Ankush with N Chandra and Subash Duragkar at Filmistan - sipping tea in between the shots and sitting legs folded up - absolutely down to earth - never fussy about what was served in lunch - but asking for the green chili if available once in while-

For fans and spectators like us it was a treat to see a new genre of superstar in the making- the new version of trhe angry young man amitji had carved in the late 70s.

He is class apart even today and will long serve this industry with great performances in timnes to come
