He says he regrets his ego in past...and now when asked if he consider doing acting and directing he says..."My ego and my conscience don't allow me take up such work."... if he knows his ego has messed up his life ...why is he still persisting and proud of his ego even in present.

:) he is contradicting himself ...he says he has not seen any movies from last 25 years...and he know all about the latest remakes (agneepath and all) and saif.Also , if you see his imdb profile he has worked till 2004..thats 8 years from now.
He was such a handsome actor, I thought he will be the likes of Dharmendra, Feroz Khan, Vinod Khanna but he went into oblivion and I used to wonder why? Only after reading his interview, I realize it was his ego and some silly mistakes but I really appreciate this guy for his frankness. In your french beard, u still look so handsome and dashing, wish you good luck on ur comeback if not on the silver screen on the idiot box.

Actually I feel I am being harsh on him. I think he is a nice person. Sandhuji if you are reading, this, I hope you all the best . What I meant by 'idiot' is that he did not really care about money!!
I MUST SAY ...THIS GUY COULD HAVE BEEN DECENT STAR .... BUT WASTED BIGGEST OPPORTUNITY OF HIS LIFE ONLY BECAUSE OF HIS EGO ...AGENT VINOD ..1977 IS VERY GOOD MOVIE ..I REALLY LIKE IT ....
